MASTER PENG YOU
Master Peng You is both a Tai Chi Master and Chef. He immigrated to Thunder Bay, Ontario in 1990. In 1992, his first restaurant called Tai Chi was opened in the Crest Hotel and in 1996 Twin Dragons Restaurant on Cumberland Street began operation. In addition to owning restaurants, Peng owns the Peng You International Tai Chi Academy. He has trained thousands of people worldwide in Tai Chi through his classes and seminars.

With many years of administrative and business experience, Cheryl takes care of the behind the scenes business aspects as well as taping and editing videos, managing the website and e-commerce, assisting with Tai Chi Chef meals, catering & seminars and whatever else needs to be done.
MASTER PENG YOU INDUCTED INTO THE
INTERNATIONAL WUSHU KUNG FU HALL OF FAME
AUGUST 2023
Master Peng You was inducted into the International Wushu KungFu Hall of Fame in Toronto on August 7th, 2023. The International Hall of Fame event is the most prestigious award of its kind established by WushuCanada which honours noteworthy individuals by acknowledging their profound achievements and contributions both within the martial arts community at large and in their home countries.The 2023 group of inductees reflect a diversity of martial arts backgrounds and styles, and are the prominent masters in their field of practice.
The Hall of Fame’s mission is to preserve the history and to honour the excellency of individuals who contribute and achieve a recognized status amongst those who foster the growth of Wushu KungFu around the world. It serves as a connection between the generations of martial artists who have a common goal to popularize and preserve the legacy of Wushu KungFu development with regards to the past, present and future.
Master Peng You was also inducted into the Budo International Magazine Martial Arts Hall of Fame in New York in June, 2006.
